Michelin-starred restaurants in Bonnieux
JU – Maison de Cuisine
Chef Julien Allano’s restaurant in Bonnieux, awarded a Michelin star in 2025: refined cooking full of southern flavours, built around carefully sourced local produce.
La Bastide, Capelongue
The restaurant of the Capelongue hotel on the edge of Bonnieux, with one Michelin star in the 2026 guide: a modern take on Provençal cooking, with two tasting menus.

The bakery
Du Pain et des Miettes, on Place Carnot in Bonnieux, is our favourite by far. On the days it is closed, the Utile supermarket in the village sells fresh bread and croissants.

Food shopping
The Utile supermarket in Bonnieux village covers the essentials. For a full shop, the large Super U at Coustellet is about 20 minutes away, or there are supermarkets in Apt.
In season you can also help yourself from the garden: figs, grapes, cherries, apricots, peaches, almonds, walnuts and quince, and a small herb garden beside the house.
Restaurant days and hours change through the year, so check each one’s website or call ahead, and book in July and August.
