A luxurious family home with breathtaking views over the Luberon.
Set on a private plot of 7,000 m² and decorated with great care, the house combines space, comfort and privacy with exceptional views.
We designed it first as our own family home, so every detail has been thought through for an unforgettable stay in one of the most beautiful parts of Provence. The interiors have been professionally designed to combine rustic Provençal charm with modern luxury and, above all, comfort, nowhere more so than in the beds.

Air conditioning throughout
We rented in the region for years before buying, and stayed in many houses without air conditioning. With hot French summers, children and elderly relatives, we decided it was a must.
Every bedroom, the sitting room, kitchen and lounge have high-end, quiet units that also heat in winter. There is central heating throughout, and a fireplace for cooler evenings, so the house is a pleasure to live in all year round.

Designed for people who love to cook
Fully equipped for cooking and entertaining, with a wide range of utensils and high-end appliances. In cooler months, the kitchen fireplace makes it the place everyone gathers.

Three bedrooms, up to six adults
A good holiday starts with a great night’s sleep, so we made no compromises on beds or linen. The house sleeps up to 6 adults, or 4 adults and 4 children, which makes it ideal for two families travelling together.

Two bathrooms
One is en-suite to the main bedroom; the other serves the family side of the house. One has a shower, the other a bath and shower. Bath towels are provided.

Staying with children
Pool safety first
The pool is not fenced or gated. It has a safety cover, which must be closed whenever the pool is not in use, but the cover does not make the pool safe and is no substitute for watching. Children must be supervised by an adult 100% of the time near the pool and anywhere outside. There are also steps down from the terrace to the pool, so take care on the way.
A house on one level
Most of the villa is on a single level, with just a couple of small steps from the kitchen into the lounge, with no stairs to climb indoors. Outside there are steps down from the terrace to the pool, and the house is not adapted for wheelchairs.
A wing of your own
The house is in two parts. On one side, behind its own hallway door, the king-size bedroom sits right next to the room with two small double beds, so a family can be together and close by. The main bedroom, with its emperor bed and en-suite bathroom, is on the other side of the house, and quieter.
Night lights
We know how it is with children in a new place. Plug-in night lights are ready for you to dot around in the evening, so you do not need to leave the main lights on overnight.
The orchard and herbs
Children can pick figs, cherries, apricots, peaches and grapes in season, and discover the herb garden by smell: rosemary, thyme, sage. Please pick from the ground only: no ladders or climbing trees.
Games for every age
Hide and seek across 7,000 m² of grounds, pétanque on the gravel at the front, darts for adults and older children, and board games for quieter evenings. Chess is a family favourite of ours.
When the sun goes down
Stroll seven minutes down to Bonnieux for an ice cream and the view as the lights come on across the valley. Back at the villa, look up from the deck: on clear nights the sky is dark enough to see the Milky Way. The deck is raised, so keep children well back from the edge.
A private pool and seven thousand square metres of peace.

The pool
Private, open from June to September inclusive and professionally maintained. Comfortable sun loungers and pool towels are provided. The pool has a safety cover, but the cover does not make the pool safe and is no substitute for supervision. The pool is not fenced or gated. Children must be supervised by an adult 100% of the time near the pool and anywhere outside.
Dining terrace
A raised outdoor dining area looking over the pool and the valley, for long lunches and dinners under romantic sunsets.
Sunset deck
A lounge area with a table for drinks and cocktails, looking out over the valley as the sun goes down.
Orchard & herbs
Fig, apple, pear, apricot, peach, cherry, walnut, almond and quince trees and a vine (pick fruit from the ground in season; no ladders or tree climbing), and a herb garden for your cooking. Early in the morning you may see deer at the bottom of the garden.

Across the Luberon valley to Mont Ventoux.
The view is the jewel of the house, and what guests, family and friends talk about most afterwards. The light changes all day, and the landscape changes with the seasons.

“A wonderful location. Amazing accommodation and great hosts.”
“We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It has everything you need, it is beautifully decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved that we could walk to the village centre. Of course, the view from the villa is just something else! We will definitely be back to discover more of this beautiful region.”
“Villa Bonnieux was exactly the kind of place I needed to slow down and disconnect a little. We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets, the pool, the figs, and just having the time and space to slow down. The interiors, the lighting, the comfort and all the little thoughtful details make it feel incredibly cosy and peaceful.”
